Inspired by the legendary Hokusai, 'Dream of Moss' explores the waterfall as a symbol of energy, purity, renewal and grace.  Being in the presence of a waterfall always enchants, it draws the viewer to the present moment, with the sound of falling water, and the physical feeling of the misty cascade on skin, it urges us to renew our minds and body. Waterfalls also symbolize the transient nature of our world and how change is constant and inevitable and all things are not permanent.

Accompanying Tanka:

The moss does not speak,

yet it cradles all seasons—

pink bloom, green cascade,

rocks worn smooth by falling time,

pond still as forgotten dreams.

苔は語らず

すべての季節抱き

花咲き緑

岩に時のしずく

池に夢の静けさ
